I watched the All Blacks beat Australia this weekend (huge game!) and thought I saw a familiar face in the Aussie line up.  It looks like Johnny Drama (star of Entourage) has given up Hollywood, put on a good few pounds and laced up as prop for Australia.  What a crap prop he is too.  Stick to b-grade acting mate!

Tri-Nations time!

I am so stoked with all the rugby lined up over the next couple of months. There's no better way to spend your Saturdays during the summer in Dubai than watching Tri-Nations rugby with a homemade big breakfast (bacon, eggs, hash browns, tomatoes and mushrooms - my girlfriend is the best!) especially if you're nursing a hangover.

Australia and South Africa are both on form and looking rather dangerous this year. The All Blacks will have to step it up a level if they want to defend their Tri-Nations title this year. I reckon we're up for it. A few key big-game players back in the forwards, a backline looking to prove the critics wrong, and Henry and co. out to prove their worth- Sorted!

First up is Australia this Saturday at Eden Park in Auckland, NZ. Bring it on Aussie!

By the way, if you're interested you can find a full list of the fixtures here.

This is how you tackle!

A security guard at the weekend's match between the All Blacks and France got a little carried away at "securing" the pitch invasioner (is that a word?).  I don't think a Rugby League-style tackle was required on a women who had already given up the chase.  It was nonetheless very entertaining for the crowd!  Nonu looks pretty impressed in the background too.

"She had her hands up in the air, saying 'OK the game is up', but he just kept sprinting across and smashed her with a big rugby league-style tackle."

I wish broadcasters would stop purposely trying not to show pitch invasions.  I know it is supposed to discourage spectators from misbehaving, but can it really stop a bit of adrenaline, a few beers and the roaring approval of a 35,000 strong crowd?  Plus it is so entertaining watching fat security guards chase speedy spectators around the field.
